3D 設計與 3D 列印：創意設計

Have you ever wanted to make your art 3D? In this 5-week class, you will be taught about 3D design and 3D printing and how it is used for artistic purposes. You will become a master at 3D design and through a series of activities and projects, you will create your own 3D character! 

Day 1: You will be introduced to the basics of 3D design and 3D printing so you will know how to optimize your designs to be printed. Then, using TinkerCAD, you will get comfortable building objects in 3D. 

Day 2: You will be taught how to build your own art gallery in TinkerCAD, step-by-step. This includes picking a theme, making paintings, and making a sculpture all in 3D! After you are done, we will do a virtual walkthrough of everyone's creations! 

Day 3: It will start with a lesson on character design and an activity to help you design your own character. Once your character is designed, you will draw it on Vectr, an online vector drawing software. 

Day 4: First you’ll get a refresher on 3D designing for 3D printing and then you will take your character design from the last class and build it in 3D! 

Day 5: You will be taught about different 3D art types used in history and you will build your character out of clay. After, you will use SculptGL to design your very own 3D alien.
