Self-paced courses are the BEST way to practice phonics because you can revisit the lessons and assignments over and over again for up to a year! In this 3-week 2nd-grade phonics course, students will master the hard and soft C & G strengthening their reading skills substantially through playing games and completing fun activities, including reading comprehension. WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR? ✅ 2nd-Graders ✅ Advanced 1st-Graders ✅ Reluctant 3rd-Graders WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE INCLUDED? ✅ Drag-and-drop ✅ Self-correcting digital games ✅ Word Search ✅ Crossword ✅ Guided silly story reading ✅ Printable Worksheets ✅ Sorting ✅ Read along with teacher ✅ Fun YouTube videos The teacher is available for help at any time and responds within 24 hours (but usually much sooner). Students will have the option to upload pictures of their work, send audio reading files, and share files of completed work to get feedback from the teacher. Students can distinguish between the hard and soft sounds of the letters C and G by recognizing the vowel patterns that follow each letter (A, O, U for hard sounds; E, I, Y for soft sounds).Word Identification and Sorting:
Students will accurately identify and sort words based on whether they contain a hard or soft C or G, both in isolation and within sentences.
