In the first tutoring lesson students will be given an assessment so that I can personalize the lessons for your child.  After the initial class I will have lesson's tailored to your child's individual needs. Parent input is welcomed and encouraged so that I can be sure to help support and teach your child.  During each class we may review math, reading, and/or writing skills. I love using puppets, songs, and slides to help your learner be fully engaged and have fun. Some of the skills we may focus on include letter identification, phonics, phonemic awareness, sight words, number identification, counting, addition, subtraction, shapes, handwriting, and writing words or sentences. If you know what you would like me to focus on (for example sounding out words) please just write me a note at least 24 hours before the lesson so that I can tailor our lesson to your child's specific needs. In-between learning skills we will also have some facts time where we will learn all about an animal or space. Thank you for choosing either space or animal themed science lessons so that I can have everything ready for your learner.

Each ongoing class will be individually tailored for your child after the initial assessment class (the first class.)

* If there is a specific animal or space theme your child would like to do please give me a few days notice and I will do my very best!
Space themes include topics such as: Mars, Jupiter, stars, the Moon, the Sun, the Milky Way, astronauts, rockets, or Saturn.
 Animals include: Toucan, tigers, pangolins, lizards, hedgehogs, porcupine, or orangutans. 
*Be sure to message me and let me know if you're child is interested in space or animals and a little about their abilities.
