In this class, I will explain any math topic your student needs.  Students can upload homework problems to the classroom before the class, or bring them when the class starts.  Classes are 60 minutes long, and are on-going classes, but your student can drop in or out as he or she needs to, just please give me notice.  

I share my screen and use a whiteboard to work problems most of the time.  I will also sometimes use Desmos or another graphing application to illustrate what is happening with a graph.  I will give students time to try to work a problem on their own, then I will analyze their process and explain to them where they went wrong if they make a mistake.  I believe students learn more when a teacher analyzes their thought process and gives feedback instead of just showing the student the teacher's process.

Because this class is 1 on 1, it is highly individualized, and I can make it whatever the student needs. I can also provide practice problems for them to do outside of class if they would like more practice.

Also, students will have access to me between sessions.  Students can send me a message through the Outschool platform, and I will try to answer as quickly as possible outside of class sessions.
