In this class, I will explain any math topic your student needs.  Students can upload homework problems to the classroom before the class, or bring them when the class starts.  Classes are 60 minutes long, and are one-time classes, but your student can enroll in as many as he or she would like.  I would suggest meeting once or twice a week, but a student could just enroll in the class occasionally when they are struggling with a certain topic.

I share my screen and use a whiteboard to work problems most of the time.  I will also sometimes use Desmos or another graphing application to illustrate what is happening with the graph.  I will give students time to try to work a problem on their own, then I will analyze their process and explain to them where they went wrong if they make a mistake.  I believe students learn more when a teacher analyzes their thought process and gives feedback instead of just showing the student the teacher's process.

Because this class is 1 on 1, it is highly individualized, and I can make it whatever the student needs. 

Also, if the student is enrolled in multiple sessions with me so that we are meeting on a regular basis, they will also have access to me between sessions.  Students can send me a message through the Outschool platform, and I will try to answer as quickly as possible outside of class sessions.
