With three years of teaching essay writing, I can help students with brainstorming, organizing their thoughts, writing, or proofreading an essay that has been assigned to them already. As a published children's author, I can also help students overcome a writer's block, brainstorm, think through ideas for a short story, write a short story, or proofread a short piece of creative writing (like a short story). I can also help students work through a research paper they might have (brainstorming, writing, proofreading, using the MLA or APA methods of formatting). If students need help proofreading their writing, I can also help with that. My teaching style is to encourage students and help give them practical feedback to help them overcome any problems they might have in their writing. Class will have quite a bit of discussion, talking through whatever writing obstacles the student might face to help them get through it.
