I'm Ms. Brenda, a highly qualified Reading Interventionist. I am a Certified Dyslexia Tutor and have taught Reading Interventions for 27 years. I will do a brief discovery screening with your child to obtain the needed information for well-informed instruction. Depending on age and grade, this may include alphabet recognition, sound recognition, decoding skills, phonological awareness, high-frequency word recognition, and penmanship. I am trained in Barton Reading and Spelling plus...
The student will gain phonological knowledge, phonemic awareness, and confidence needed to read and write successfully.

I ask that students practice reading between sessions. Passages will be provided by way of PDF so your child can read the e-copy or print a hard copy.提供的評估
I will start tutoring by giving an informal assessment or screening to determine where I need to start instruction. Do they know the letters and sounds? High-frequency words? Simple decodable text? More complex text? I just need to know where they are.提供的成績
Whiteboard, marker, pencil, paper, Letters will be used, either magnetic letters or I can send you a PDF to print on cardstock and cut out.
