-Teaching license from 3 states in the USA, including MI, IL, and CA. 

-Special Education License in IL. 

-Bachelor's degree in General Education

-Master's degree  in Special Education
 
-Mental Health First Aid Certification 

-Crisis Hotline Training 

-Teaching Mindfulness Certificate 

Teaching Experience: 

-10 years of General Education  
-3 years of Special Education 
-6 years of ESL 

What will be taught in this class? 

Subjects/topics will be taught according to your request. Sessions can include general education subjects. 

I have majored in Emotional Disability, Language Arts, and Social Studies. 
I have taught and led science, reading, health, and technology classes for special needs students.  
I am currently teaching ESL and mental health classes to Reufguees since 2020. 

A few examples of topics/themes that I specialize in: 
-Middle School and High School Science (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, etc) 
- Language Arts (Writing, Grammar, ESL, Reading, Reading Comprehension) 
-Mental Health (Mindfulness, Resources, Coping Techniques ) 
- Technology ( Powerpoint, Plagairsm, Excel, Research)

How is the class structured? 
1. Check-in. 
2. Follow-up from the previous session 
3. Go over the objective/topics 
4. Mini-lesson and explicit model.
5. Independent practice or work together 
6. Questions or concerns 

A break will be given whenever necessary. =) 

How will I teach, and how will the learner interact with me?  

Personalized Learning

I will provide personalized support tailored to the learner's needs and educational goals. With individualized attention and creative teaching methods, we will make learning fun and easy together. 

I will ask the parents or learners what teaching methods are most effective. Some of my teaching methods include collaborative, inquiry-based, and game-based learning. 

What is my teaching style and teaching method? 
Holistic approach to teaching, while using the Hybrid teaching style. 
Again, I will ask the parents and the learner's preference first.
