에세이 쓰기 - 당신은 어떤 것을 선호하십니까? 개 또는 고양이!

Calling all young and curious minds! 
If you like to write and share your opinion on a certain topic. 

 Come and join this class in writing! Write an opinion essay, which do you prefer?  Dogs or Cats?
If you have a pet, you will have the chance to show and tell before the class ends.

In this one-time class, students will learn to write an opinion that introduces a topic, state an opinion, provide reasons that support that opinion and write a conclusion.  This will help develop their writing and reasoning skills.

During the activity, students will receive and print out the 2 pages handouts that they are going to use during the activity.  

We will write an opinion on the topics Dogs or Cats? 
 Read the example of a personal opinion essay to give them an idea how to make one.  
Then students will be encouraged to read the pet passages and keep in mind which pet they prefer to own and why.  
Next, learners will complete the graphic organizer to help them plan their essay. 
And lastly, students will write their essay on a separate paper to finalize.  

Everyone will have the chance to read and present their work to the class.
As a teacher, I will guide them, answering questions, and modelling during the activity.

There is no prior knowledge needed in writing or drawing.

CLASS REFUND

This is a one - time class, if your learner misses a class meeting, you are not entitled to a refund. If the learner has not joined  the meeting 10 minutes after the class's start time, the meeting is cancelled and no refund, unless you notify the teacher prior to the start of class.  If you joined the class and withdrew in the middle of the class, you are not entitled to a refund. Teacher is allowed only to wait for 10 minutes before leaving the meeting.

CLASS RECORDING POLICY

I do not share recordings of my  classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners enrolled ( many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to see the videos that include their child). However, you are welcome to reach me out if you have any particular questions about something covered in the class. I will be glad to help and answer. You are welcome to sign up and attend my class with your child off screen after I verified as per Outschool Policy.
