Writer's needs often include: -forming complete sentences -expanding ideas with prepositional or adverbial phrases -combining simple sentences to make compound or complex sentences -using topic sentences to guide paragraph creation -developing fluency by writing first drafts -revising drafts for clarity, voice, and coherence -editing drafts for grammar and usage -adding appropriate transitions to connect ideas between sentences or paragraphs This is not an all inclusive list.
