Winsome Watercolors: 자연을 주제로 한 인사말 카드를 그리세요! (FLEX)

Isn't it special receiving a hand-made gift? Whether it's for someone's birthday, a way to say "thank-you", or just letting a loved-one know you're thinking of them, greeting cards are a personal and thoughtful way to encourage others. In this 4-week course, learners will learn fun watercolor techniques while creating several special cards they can give to their friends or family. No previous watercolor experience is necessary, though it is helpful. After the introduction class, each week will focus on a different theme. 

Week 1: Intro to watercolors. Learn basic color theory, brush strokes, and brush care. 
Week 2: Floral cards (2-3 designs)
Week 3: Leaf cards (2-3 designs)
Week 4: Feather cards (1-2 designs)

Students will be provided with a pre-recorded video lesson and reference materials (if needed) every Monday by 12 PM Central Time. The videos will guide the learners through each design in a step-by-step process, as well as give ideas for customization. Creativity and personalization is encouraged as learners may choose their own colors and layouts. At the end of the course, each learner will have completed at least 5 unique card designs. 

At the end of each week, students will be required to upload a picture or video of their painting progress to the classroom with a short statement of what they have learned and what was a challenge for them. Students are encouraged to post specific questions they may have in the chat that can be answered by both the teacher and fellow students. 

Please note that watercolors are unpredictable! Sometimes the result isn't what one expected, but that's also the fun and beauty of watercolors - no two designs are ever the same!
