In this four week fun, interactive, flex course, learners will be inspired by innovative ideas, think creatively and boost their confidence through public speaking. Teacher will upload self made videos at the start of each week which would include presentations using Google Slides. Short YouTube videos will be embedded in some presentations to reinforce concepts taught. A short, fun quiz will be given each week testing the material for that specific week. Apart from videos and quizzes each week to foster interaction and engagement with the students, students will be asked to post on the classroom page at least 3 things that stood out for them in each video. Additionally, they will be given mini-projects each week and will have to post their own videos explaining their answers to the various assignments/mini projects. Students will also be given the opportunity to interact with one another by giving at least one other student feedback on his/her submitted video for the assignment/mini project on the classroom page.

Please note that this is flexible schedule course which means that this course does not include live meetings. 

Week 1 - Simple Ideas That Made Millions: Students will learn about simple ideas that made millions of dollars and be a source of inspiration for them to generate their own innovative ideas. Teacher will show examples of simple ideas that made millions by showing pictures of them and explain the stories behind the ideas, for example, who came up with the idea and why. Students will make a video recording about which idea they liked the most and share it on the classroom page for feedback from peers and teacher. 

Week 2 - Awesome Ideas Invented by Kids Like You!:  Students will learn about ideas created by kids and be inspired to come up with their own creative ideas. Teacher will show examples of awesome ideas invented by kids by showing pictures of them and explain what problems the ideas solve. Teacher will then explain the stories behind the ideas, for example, who came up with the idea and why. Students will make a video recording about which idea they liked the most and share it on the classroom page for feedback from peers and teacher. . 

Week 3 - A Minute to Win It: Two Random Words: Students will learn about random word stimulation which is a powerful technique that provides a practical method of generating fresh, original and unique ideas. Learners will use creative thinking to come up with a winning business idea using two randomly assigned words and have one minute to pitch it. Students will make a video recording with their one minute pitch and share it on the classroom page for feedback from peers and teacher. 

Week 4 - Let's Pitch It: Students will learn how to develop and present an effective business idea pitch for their own ideas to improve their creativity, innovativeness, public speaking and presentation skills and boost their confidence levels. Students will do some research prior to pitching their business idea. The following are some tips/guidelines on selecting a potential business idea:-
- What do people need or want? Think of an everyday obstacle – how can it be overcome? Start with a Google search.
- If you could provide or invent something that would make life easier, better, safer, fairer or cheaper – what would it be?
- What are you really good at or love doing? Perhaps start with that!
