Nature is my jam! I have been an outdoor educator for 12-years at the Chicago Botanic Garden and as a home educator in the Chicagoland area. My favorite subjects to teach are botany, youth gardening, and outdoor survival skills.

I suggest finding a notebook with sturdy paper and blank pages that is easy to transport or carry outdoors. 2. A pencil with a good eraser 3. A set of colored pencils. Additional supplies your student might enjoy but are not necessary for class: - Binoculars - Outdoor watercolor set - Jars for collection (recycled cans work great) - A special backpack that can hold supplies and a snack
