This private acting and auditioning coaching is designed to help performers master a wide variety of acting styles, including musical theater, film and television acting, Shakespeare, and improv. Taught by Robert Jerome Pagan, an award-winning actor, writer, and director with extensive experience across multiple artistic disciplines, this class provides personalized, one-on-one training tailored to the individual needs of each student.

What will be taught?  
Students will develop essential acting skills based on their individual goals and experience level. Lessons may cover character development and emotional depth, audition techniques for theater, film, and television, scene work, monologues, and cold readings, Shakespearean text and classical performance techniques, musical theater acting, song interpretation, and movement, improv techniques for spontaneity and confidence, and on-camera acting, self-tape coaching, and industry insights.  

What topics will you cover?  
Each session is fully customized to meet the learner's needs. Whether working on script analysis, voice control, stage presence, comedic timing, or dramatic intensity, students will receive expert guidance in their chosen area.  

How is your class structured?  
Lessons are one-on-one and highly interactive. Sessions typically begin with a warm-up exercise focused on voice, body, or improv-based techniques, followed by focused work on a scene, monologue, or audition material. Classes conclude with personalized feedback and actionable steps for growth.

Robert Jerome Pagan uses a holistic, adaptive approach that blends Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, Meisner, and contemporary techniques. Lessons incorporate a mix of practical exercises, guided scene work, personalized feedback, interactive discussions, and industry insights tailored to the student’s goals.
