The ukulele (uke) is a fun 4-stringed instrument that is easy to learn. In this one-time class you'll learn the Steve Martin song "You Belong To Me" which also appears on many Tik Tok videos. We will learn the chords and strum patterns for the song then we will play and sing together to learn the songs. I love being able to play an instrument that is portable - I can take my ukulele anywhere to create music, by myself or with friends and family. I have such a passion for music and feel it can be a great bridge between people.
I will provide all the music, chord sheets and lyrics to the song. The student will need to have a ukulele during the sessions in order to get the most out of the class. If you don't have one, there are many really inexpensive ones you can pick up from local music stores or order online. Send me a message if you need help finding one!
