수업 소개
Learning all about ocean life is so fascinating for children- it's such an amazing new world to discover! When I lived in Hawaii I was able to swim with sharks, dolphins, sea turtles, and the most amazing fish! This experience brings so much passion for our sea creatures that I find my classes are very interactive and engaging. I also enjoy hearing what my students want to add to our discussions and learning. In this class we will: Learn about creatures from the dark abyss and how they live. Watch a few short Animal Planet (age appropriate) clips that show bioluminescent algae, Vampire squids, Intelligent Octopuses and more! Share our favorite sea creatures of the world and which oceans they live in. Draw our own sea creature together for a funny ending to our class! I love to incorporate academics a bit through my lessons too when the opportunity presents itself. You'll find that my classes flow with what the children are most excited about but will offer structure to stay on track. I hope to see you in class!

My name is Teacher Brittany!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile on Outschool!
I teach early childhood education and am the owner of Little Seeds Farm School in Portland, Oregon.
I hold a degree in Arts and Science with a focus on Early Childhood Education from Portland State University and a certificate in Spanish language, art and culture from University of Salamanca, Spain. I also am a certified Imagination kids yoga instructor!
I love to connect children with a love of learning, their silly side, caring for our earth and how to be giving members to our communities.
I believe in listening to children and acknowledging their thoughts, ideas and feelings.
I spend my time with my family going camping, gardening and cooking delicious meals. For fun I love to teach dance and travel the world!
