Objective
For this animal science class, we will be focusing on the animal class Mammalia. Students will learn about how to determine what makes an animal a mammal. This will include discovering the varying diets, habitats, reproduction, and life expectancy. There will be a focus on a few of the mammalian orders.

Class Structure
This lesson will be lecture-based. Visuals will be provided alongside informational text. Students will have the opportunity to identify ways to remember taxonomic orders and understand vocabulary. To verify if students are grasping the concept, there will be a matching activity and a review section at the end. 
Throughout the presentation, there will be stopping points to answer student questions. Questions can be typed in the chat, to reduce any excess noise.

Muting
For the class, there will be up to 8 students. To reduce any noise distractions, mics need to be muted for the entirety of the lesson. Students must know how to use the mute control. If there are any questions throughout the class, I will be able to look into the chat and provide the answers out loud.

Homework
Optional homework will be provided. You may let me know at the end of the class if you would like to participate in it and if you would like it graded.
