In this 90 minute course, students will learn how to close read better, be more descriptive in their writing, become better researchers while citing stronger evidence in their academic papers, and understand better test taking techniques for multiple choice reading based assessments.  

Having a Master's Degree in English and Writing as well as 8 years of experience teaching these subjects, I have discovered ways to help students who need extra help with these topics. Teaching is my passion, and I look forward to helping students discover ways to make English and writing fun! Even if you are skilled in these subjects, this course can really dive deep into becoming a better reader, writer, and overall student as English skills translate into all courses overall.
