수업 소개
In these spelling classes; I will start the class by teaching the students different ways to learn to how to spell the words we talking about that day. Students will receive a paper to print off to use in this class. During the class students will take turns answering clues, spelling words, and putting the mystery letters in the puzzle. All students will work together to solve the mystery puzzle. Week 1, In this class we will practice spelling words that are divided between double consonants. Week 2, In this class we will practice spelling words that are divided between different consonants. Week 3, In this class we will practice spelling words that are divided between a vowel and consonant. Week 4, In this class we will practice spelling words that are divided between a prefix and a root word. Week 5, In this class we will practice spelling words that are divided between a root word and a suffix. At the end of class we will talk about the Mystery Question and students will have some fun sharing together. Students will enjoy this class if they have a knowledge of basic spelling rules and can follow along and fill in the handout

Hello, my name is Parri!
I am so excited to be teaching with Outschool. I hope to teach classes in Phonics, Math, Art, and Sea Glass.
I have been teaching for 28 years; I taught for 25. 5 years in a Brick and Mortar school and for 2.5 years online. I have taught Reading, Language, Phonics, Literature, Spelling, Math, Social Studies, Canadian Studies, and Science. I LOVE teaching Phonics and Reading. Online I have been teaching children ages 4-14 to speak English. I also do tutoring with these ages and in these subjects both online and in person.
I believe teaching should be fun and at the same time assist students to reach their highest potential. I like to teach using games and activities that encourage learning in a fun way! I want my students to know I care about them and their learning.
One of the first classes I hope to teach is one about Sea Glass; I LOVE the beach. Since I was a child, I have been roaming beaches looking for sea glass; I also love making things with the glass too!
I look forward to meeting your child and having lots of fun learning together!
