수업 소개
This is a course for students with not previous knowledge of Spanish. Students will learn the basic vocabulary as shown on the syllabus below. Power point presentations, props and different kind of activities will be used in this class. Students will be given activities to answer and do as homework and it will help them to acquire a good knowledge from the topics studied in class. In this course Students will learn through mimes, fun games, songs, and role play activities. Students will hold short conversations, count to twenty, students will learn to sing Happy Birthday in Spanish, perform simple actions to follow classroom instructions, name body parts, colors in Spanish and vocabulary about clothes. In class we will focus on reading, speaking and listening skills and students will work on speaking, reading, listening and writing skills with different kind of activities at home. The teacher will send the answer keys for most of their homework and their parents/guardians will be able to monitor students’ progress too. When the answer sheets are not provided, students can send the homework to the teacher to check their work. Lesson 1: Hello- Conversation in the context of greeting people in different ways. Lesson 2: What’s your name?-Introducing yourself, exchange names. Lesson 3: How are you?-Discuss how you are feeling. Lesson 4: Goodbye! -Choose appropriate phrases for the situation. Lesson 5: Numbers 0-20 -Recognize and pronounce the numbers 0-20 Lesson 6: How old are you? -Talking about age, apply knowledge to make sentences.Review (Lessons 1-5). Lesson 7: Classroom instruction - Instructions to know in class. Lesson 8: Parts of the body - Vocabulary and word recognition. Lesson 9: Actions - Clap, put down, run, etc. Lesson 10: Colors - Vocabulary. Lesson 11: Clothes - Vocabulary. Lesson 12: Review (Units 6-10).
학습 목표
Students will learn the correct pronunciation of all the vocabulary studied in class and will know to identify it as well as when to use it. Homework is necessary to be done in order to reach our learning goals.

I am multilingual, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Language Teacher Education and an Early Childhood Education Diploma. I speak Spanish, French, and English. I have also attended the following workshops/trainings in Canada: Science of Early Childhood Development-Play, Science of Early Childhood Development-Language and Literacy, Science of Early Childhood Development-Introductory Level, Transition Planning Intermediate Level, and Adult Education-Intermediate level. I have been teaching French and Spanish languages for over eight years. My students range from toddlers to adults. I have lived and worked in France and Mexico. Currently, I live in Canada.
I offer the following skills: Ability to engage students from a wide range of backgrounds, interactive lesson plans, good interpersonal skills and a passion for languages. I am an active listener and team player. I like to do crafting and science experiments with my family. I also enjoy learning to cook different kind of dishes, lately I have made Asian dishes such as brown rice and eggplant. I like travelling and I have learnt the culture of the languages that I teach where the languages that I speak are the mother tongues.
I really love teaching, it is my passion!
