This is an advanced level Spanish language course. Learners who understand and have a good knowledge of  the Spanish language will benefit  as this  is an immersion course. The teacher will show power point slides, will send hand outs to the learners to use in class. In this course, learners will practice and improve their Spanish language skills, the four skills to master a language are reading, speaking, listening and writing skills and in these classes learners will practice all of them. In this course, learners will write, read, answer questions, they will also have the opportunity to express in Spanish. In addition, learners will learn specific vocabulary about different topics such as the water cycle, the solar system, animals (herbivores, carnivore, omnivores), dinosaurs, food groups, etc. In classes the teacher will implement activities where learners will demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the language. This in an interactive class and learners will give their opinions and answer questions. Learners will have the opportunity to play games in some classes where they will use their general knowledge in different topics, for instance while describing dinosaurs or talking about continents. Week 1-All about me  (Presentation, writing)
Week 2-Reading Comprehension (Answering questions orally and by writing)
Week 3-Making Sentences (Orally and by writing)
Week 4-Flowers and Plants (Vocabulary)
Week 5-The Water Cycle (Comprehension)
Week 6-The Solar System (Comprehension, game)
Week 7-Herbivores, Carnivores, Omnivores Animals
Week 8-Continents (Vocabulary, making sentences)
Week 9-The Dinosaurs (Vocabulary, comprehension)
Week 10-Healthy and Unhealthy (Giving opinions, classifying food)
Week 11- Reading Comprehension (Answering questions)
Week 12-Food Groups (Giving opinions, comprehension)
Week 13-Combining Traditional Stories (Use of creativity while making up stories)
Week 14-Dictation (Spelling, grammar, writing)
Week 15-Reading Comprehension (Answering questions about a text)
Week 16-Vocabulary Game (Practice vocabulary in a fun way)
