⭐In this one time course, students will practice interpreting and solving word problems with 2-digit addition and subtraction!⭐


👉🏼This class is perfect for the learner who is needing support in figuring out if a word problem is needing you to add or subtract to solve. We’ll make learning about word problems engaging, upbeat and encouraging!

 ➖What keywords to look for in word problems to know if we need to add or subtract
 ➖How to break a word problem apart to set up the equation we need to solve


C L A S S R O O M   S T R U C T U R E :
  ✏️Community Building: Introductions & Question of the Day
  ✏️Class Introd I will begin by modeling to students how to read a word problem, how to comprehend what it is asking you to find, how to decide what the equation will be, and then how to solve. We will then follow that same process with some word problems together, followed by giving students the opportunity to solve problems independently.
  ✏️Class Closing: Class reflection on our learning target and individual reflection on effort

 🔻Your child should know how to add and subtract 2-digit numbers when taking this class.
 🔻This class will utilize the chat feature in Zoom in order for learners to be able to privately send me their answers.
