This class will cover intermediate topics of percussion/drumming including but not limited to: -Style -Intermediate Techniques -Popular Drum Literature -Transcriptions of Popular Songs -Intermediate Rhythms Each Class we will warm up, review the previously assigned material, and learn new material to practice for class. My goal for this class is not to teach students how to hold the sticks or read basic rhythms, but to expand upon the foundation that has already been built. My teaching...
- The student will improve upon the foundations of drumming that have already been build by engaging in Aural, Visual, and Kinesthetic exercises and methods of learning. The student will learn new rhythms, new techniques, and further their knowledge as a drummer to reach more advanced levels of performance.
