Welcome to our Inclusive Learning Adventure! This class is designed for students with disabilities with a multisensory approach to learning. There will be songs, stories, matching games, coloring, and more! OVERVIEW OF CLASS Warm-up Introduce yourself and draw or write your name on the whiteboard using the annotation feature. Exploring Size The animals in The Grouchy Ladybug keep getting bigger and bigger. We will review how to compare sizes through a matching activity....
Students will sort and classify objects by color, shape, size, number, and other properties. Identify the hours on a clock using an analog clock.
Designed for students with disabilities: autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental disabilities. A multisensory approach to learning with extended wait times and alternate ways to show comprehension.
Learners will need access to a printer for the handouts, a pencil, crayons or color pencils, glue or tape, and scissors. Some of the activities may be prepared by the parent ahead of time (for example, cut-out squares for sequencing activity).
