Learners will be able to simply answer the following questions: *What is a poem? *Who gets to write a poem? *What are the five senses? My biggest goal is for learners to feel excited and empowered as budding poets.
I am an early childhood educator and librarian. I love writing, reading, and teaching poetry to early learners!
A printable sensory poem guide will be provided to grownups for further poetry building adventures at home! Students may want to have paper and a writing instrument (pen, pencil, marker, crayon, etc.) at the ready, but the most important supply is an active imagination!
