수업 소개

In this ongoing book club, students will independently read one Third Grade Detective book in the series (reading level N) and come to class ready to discuss plot, character motives, and behaviors - all in the comfort of their own pajamas!

Come to book club, talk about the book of the week, and solve the secret puzzle! Each class begins with a warm-up question to get students ready to engage and participate with ease. Then, moving through one chapter at a time, students will answer hilarious multiple-choice and open-ended questions about the plot and character behavior. Students will have many opportunities to reflect on how they might react if they were in the character's situation. Filled with lighthearted fun and engagement, your child will be eager to read a full book each week!

March 6th: (book 1) The Absent Author

Ongoing classes are designed so that students may come and go without needing to attend prior classes - the classes do not build on one another. Students can drop in whenever they like!
