Students will learn the basics of painting with acrylic paint through guided demonstrations each week. A new topic, theme, or artistic style will be covered each week. Styles and topics that may be covered are; seascapes, landscapes, still life, abstract art, silhouettes, fantasy, outer space, etc. They may follow along with the instructor, but are always encouraged to explore their own ideas and style. The main goal of Pocket Paintings is to improve skill and confidence when painting with acrylics on canvas. Students will learn various styles and painting techniques that can be used to eventually create their own masterpieces. They will also learn the proper use of paint brushes and supplies, as well as how to care for and clean their art supplies.
등록 시 1개의 파일을 볼 수 있어요.Learners will need the following supplies each week: 8x10 canvas (can be purchased in a multi-pack at craft stores, big box stores, or some dollar stores) or 9x12 mixed media pad, multiple colors of acrylic paint (craft paint is fine) including black, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple--paint color list will be added to the classroom each week, flat and round paint brushes (a sampler set is suggested), paper towel, paper plate, smock, cup of water, newsprint or table covering, and a hair dryer.
