Hello my name is Denise and I have been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) classes online for the past 5 years for both children and adults. I currently work with the Keller ISD school district as a Para Professional providing academic and social skills support for students with special needs in our Special Education Program. I am proud to say I am also well on my way to becoming a certified Texas Educator and hope to complete this journey by the end of the summer in 2022. Additionally, in the past I have homeschooled my own 2 children. Raising and educating my oldest child on the Autism Spectrum and now having the privilege to work with other students with special needs has helped me to realize the importance of recognizing and understanding individual learning styles and student needs. Therefore, I use a welcoming and open minded approach with all of my students to provide the best learning experience possible on their learning journey.
