Learning Goals:
- Develop phonemic awareness skills through blending and segmenting CVC words.
- Recognize and read basic sight words within an undersea context.

These learning goals aim to provide a comprehensive foundation in phonics, sight word recognition, and reading skills while immersing learners in an engaging and imaginative under-the-sea-themed learning environment.

My background is in Montessori teaching as well as homeschooling. I follow the child and guide them until they are ready to be independent. I also have a background in Speech and Language Pathology and have worked with a variety of reading levels to improve reading and comprehension skills in ages 3-18. 

The learner has taken "Phonics Under The Sea," or knows most all or most of the alphabet and sounds. Has been introduced to blending and has some phonemic awareness.
