This Grade 4 Decimals unit’s focus is on students practicing solving decimals and decimal fractions questions, adding decimal fractions and comparing decimals. Lessons will be displayed using powerpoint or google slides. Students should have a good understanding of grade 3 addition, fractions and decimals concepts taking this course. Materials: Worksheets will be provided Pencil & eraser Paper or whiteboard Scissors (some students may require parental supervision), glue, coloured paper, construction paper, something to colour with. Dice for some of the games Manipulatives - Manipulatives: Number Line, Adding Decimals Mat, Adding Decimals Fractions Mat, Grid Paper.
Students will be using scissors. Please supervise students when using scissors.
