Creativity is great for stress reduction, and gratitude is a fantastic mental health booster. This fun, relaxing class will address both, making it perfect if you are looking to create a heartfelt Mother's Day gift.

In this one-time online class we'll begin by learning a bit about the history of Mother's Day.  Then students will make a personalized certificate and gift coupon to give to their mom on Mother's Day. Sometimes, a simple handmade gift from the heart means as much, or more than something from a store.

We'll discuss different coupon gift ideas and things to consider when choosing a gift, as well as the various things moms do and why we celebrate Mother's Day. Students can reflect on what their mom really means to them and fill in the certificate template with personal messages.

Please bring your markers, crayons, or colored pencils to color and add your own artistic touches to the provided templates. If you're feeling extra creative, you may bring blank paper and create your own design using the templates as a guide.
