In this fun dance dance, we will go over proper movement including stretching before any exercise activity, warm-ups to get the muscles ready, and finally the hip-hop dance made easy for young kids! We will start with stretching from head to toe, making sure we stretch each section of our body. We will follow that up with a warm-up where the choreography will be conditioned, and then we will go right into dancing together! We will end the class with a fun game of freeze dance and a cool down...
Students will learn stretching before exercising, warm-ups, and proper physical movement. Ultimately, the goal is to dance safe and have fun!
For your child’s safety, please ensure they have the following before beginning the class: 1) An adult guardian supervisor during the entire class duration 2) An open workout space 3) Proper footwear and exercise clothing 4) A water bottle Injuries can occur if not properly supervised.
