수업 소개
Join me on a fun adventure to learn all about weather! In this class, students will engage in learning what a meteorologist is and about different types of weather. We will explore meteorology and discuss different types of weather. We will focus on what a meteorologist is and how they are able to share what the weather is going to be. We will talk about weather as well, but focus on meteorology. Students will be able to chat and share what the weather is at their home and are encouraged to share what they know about weather. Students will be provided with a printable worksheet prior to class. Students will also be provided with a "book" that they can use throughout the week as a weather tracker. Students will also need to bring a pencil and crayons/markers to class. This class will be interactive and engaging. Students are encouraged to participate if they choose to. Students will not be muted unless there is a lot of background noise. I hope to see your learner in class soon so we can enjoy exploring different types of weather together!

Hello! My name is Amanda Caves! I live in Pensacola, Florida with my family. I have a 5 year old daughter and a new baby girl expected in October!
I have a Master's in Accomplished Teaching from Georgia Southern University. I have Georgia and Florida teaching certificates. I am certified to teach grades pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. I have twelve years of teaching experience; nine years in a regular education classroom and three years teaching English as a second language to students in China. In my nine years in the elementary classroom, I taught three years in pre-k, three years in kindergarten, two years in first grade, one year in fourth grade, and part of a year in second grade.
I love teaching students reading skills, number recognition, addition, subtraction, and science. I am really excited to bring some science and math classes for 4 - 7 year olds. I believe learning should be fun and hands on. I would love to bring hands on learning fun to the Outschool classroom.
Fun fact! My favorite food is pizza with pickles!! I love it...you should give it a try! I hope to see you in my classroom soon!
