미스 사이먼과 함께하는 수학

Hello friends! My name is Miss Simon and I am so excited to begin our new online teaching experience. I have been teaching for fifteen years. I have my bachelors in elementary education and a masters in educational technology. My experiences range from preschool up to fifth grade. I currently teach 4th and 5th grade math. I’ve loved every grade that I’ve taught but I feel like fourth holds a special place in my heart.  My favorite subject to teach is math. I find my class truly gets excited over learning math because of how excited I get to show them new fourth grade knowledge and all the different strategies. I have also taught first grade and second grade. I can be available to help and assist students in different grade levels.  I always say teaching is teamwork, not only with our friends in the classroom but also the families at home. I find it always best that everyone works together to make a child successful.  A few of my favorite things are Disney especially the Little Mermaid, Baby Yoda, and my cat Dean. Some of my hobbies include reading, knitting, and crocheting.  I would even be happy to teach students how to knit and crochet. I taught five of my students how to crochet when they were able to craft with the teacher. I look forward to assisting your child in anyway that I can. I truly love my profession.
