📣Calling all Super Science Sleuths!! 📣

Join me in this one-time class where we learn how rainbows are formed and then...grow your own rainbow during our science experiment!  We'll learn about Sir Isaac Newton and how he experimented with prisms to separate sunlight into its individual colors. 

🌈 What is behind the "Grow Your Own Rainbow" experiment?  Learners will discover the science of chromatography and the effects of capillary action as they use simple materials found in their home to "grow" their own rainbows.  🌈

5 minutes: Welcome and Build Community
5 minutes: Brainstorm: How Do You Think Rainbows are Formed?
10 minutes: Watch interactive, engaging video explaining how rainbows are formed. 
15 minutes: Grow Your Own Rainbow experiment
5 minutes: Recap and Wrap Up 


Materials needed for the science experiment:
Paper Towel (very absorbent, like Bounty)
Washable Markers
Water
2 Small Glasses
Scissors
