In this fun class, students will watch a puppet show that involves a scenario surrounding a specific emotion for that month. I will change the puppet shows even though the emotions will be repeated every new cycle. Each month, a new emotion will be covered. Students will get to discuss the emotion after the puppet show, and draw a picture of a time they felt that emotion or could possibly experience that emotion. I am a school psychologist, and I have conducted groups on helping students to understand emotions and cope with difficult emotions. My training as a school psychologist has enabled me to work with students of various age groups and backgrounds with different social/emotional and behavioral needs.
