수업 소개
During this self-paced class, students will learn the basics of computer science while creating a video game using Scratch. This class does NOT meet live. Learners can move at their own pace at their own schedule. Each lesson includes a follow-along video as well as links to completed projects in Scratch. Our philosophies at TechWise Academy: 1) Embrace Mistakes - Coding provides immediate feedback to the learner to correct any mistakes along the way. Mistakes are part of the process of learning. 2) Enjoy Learning - We use fun characters and games to make the learning fun for your student. We know that students learn better when they enjoy the process. 3) Explore Computer Science - We want to expose the problem solving techniques used in computer science to every child. We know every student will not be programmers one day; however, we want to give tools that can be used across any field of study or career. Below is a rough breakdown of what we will cover over the course of the class: Introduction -Welcome -What is Scratch? -Overview of Computational Thinking -Decomposition - Break our Project into Smaller Pieces Telling the Story - Intro Animation -Create Main Sprite + Antagonist + Object -Animation Background -Position Sprites & Glide Create our Game Scene -Change to Game Background -Create Launcher Arrow - Resize and Position Sprites -First Launch Game Objective: Get the Object! -Change Main Sprite Launch Speed -Create Object Clone -Keep Track of Launch Count Challenges -The Enemy Hath Returned! -Under the Apple Tree - Gravity Algorithm Finalize the Game -Background Music + Sound Effects -Game Over Screen -What Next? Instructors will be available to respond to questions via video as your student progresses through the lessons. Please reach out as needed -- we want your student to enjoy the experience with coding! This class is for those students with little to no prior experience with coding.

6 레슨
6 주 이상레슨1:
Introduction
Students gain an introduction to the Scratch programming language, computational thinking, and begin learning about Decomposition as a problem-solving strategy.
3 과제
레슨2:
Telling the Story - Intro Animation
Students follow along to create their own intro animation for their game. This is how they'll "tell the story" of their game characters to engage players.
3 과제
레슨3:
Create our Game Scene
Students create the background for their game and setup the first launch.
3 과제
레슨4:
Game Objective: Get the Object!
Students add the code necessary to retrieve the objects. Students use variables and clones to make a fun, engaging game.
