What will be taught: Students learn the rules of the past tense verbs in words that already happened. Students will practice naming the past tense verbs in sentences. Students will practice sentences and change words to past tense verbs. Students will write sentences in a writing challenge using the rules of the past tense verbs. How will the lesson be taught: Nearpod, slides, doc cam, lecture or discussion, student engagement. Some knowledge of verbs is helpful for the students. Great class for more practice with past tense verbs.

Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
