초음파학 101 소개

Welcome to Introduction to Sonography 101. This 8-week course is designed to provide an overview of the science of diagnostic ultrasound and its application in medicine. The course content will cover anatomy, physiology, pathology, sonographic appearance, and scanning techniques of various human organs. Every week, we will take into account an organ/organs and will understand its relationship to ultrasound. Depending on the organ of the week, I will invite the guest in my class to demonstrate scanning techniques with the ultrasound machine. Having my own ultrasound machine gives me the advantage of delivering the lectures in a more practical and interactive manner. 

The topics we plan to cover are

Week 1: LIVER. Please expect a guest appearance for this class for demonstration and making our lecture more interactive.
Week 2: BILIARY TRACT.
Week 3: ADRENAL GLANDS and PANCREAS.
Week 4: SPLEEN.
Week 5: KIDNEYS. Please expect a guest appearance for this class for demonstration.
Week 6: URINARY SYSTEM.
Week 7: GI TRACT.
Week 8: THYROID, PARATHYROID. In this class, we will also cover some ultrasound-guided procedures.
