I successfully completed many hours of training where I learned that blacks, Hispanics, and immigrants from any country other than the USA need to feel respected, accepted, and recognized for their virtues. When I established this connection with students assigned to me, then they are willing to attack new sight words with confidence and are receptive to new knowledge. I hold various certifications: ESOL and reading K-12th. I am an ESOL teacher with a master's degree, trained in early childhood education, and with fifteen years of experience, I am ready to share with the little persons research-based activities and strategies that will help them learn how to effectively read, write, and remember for life my first sight words.
