I am a special education teacher with a master's degree from the University of Central Florida certified in social studies, reading, and English. I have over 20 years teaching students from K to college level how to get ready for tests with the use of note-taking techniques. I taught my four successful children and I still use the method because learning, reading, and analyzing should never stop. In this class, I will teach you how to take focused, organized, and effective notes. You will be able to apply these strategies and apply it to any note-taking situation, whereas social studies or reading, article, lecture, or video. I will teach you to use the Cornell Notes structure and apply it to an outline. Let's get started! Week 1 Excerpt of Ancient Egypt Week 2 Excerpt of Ancient Assyria (Source of information: Both have been taken from the 6th gr social studies text, World History, Ancient History, Author Mcdougal Littell.)

The basis of the material is state-approved and delivered according to grade level and intellectual capacity. Adults have sat down as I conducted such material and they have enjoyed it. They even participate in becoming resources for the delivery of information. I taught my four successful children and I still use the method investigating subjects of interest because learning, reading, and analyzing should never stop.
