수업 소개
Each day, during the first half hour, students will learn 5-7 herbs in preparation to play a game. These herbs will be some examples of the ones found within the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. Examples of these are marigold, poppy seed, dock, and catmint. Learners will see examples of these plants, where it grows, and how they are used within the Warrior books. During the second half hour of the classes, there will be a fun game quiz section of the class. Learners will attempt to cure a cat in the game using their herb knowledge. The game will be played on the quiz platform Kahoot, so learners will need to be able to access it from their device. The quiz will give an injury or problem which would logically be found within the Warriors world and a group of four herbs for the learners to choose from to solve the problem. This will enforce the things they have learned in a simple, low stakes environment.

Note that the information in this course is based around the book series Warriors by Erin Hunter. The use of the herbs on cats is purely fiction. They should not be used on cats (unless they are fictional cats, of course).
Also note that any uses of herbs on or for humans are noted for educational purposes only and intended for comparison to the uses within the fictional Warrior world.

Learners will need access to the site kahoot.it - another device is suggested but not required. -Disclaimer: I have run into the issue where Kahoot appears too large on tablets or other technical difficulties happen when not done through a computer. I will do my utmost to work with learners on mobile devices and accommodate as best I can. This includes but is not limited to reading out the answers/describing the pictures. If any technical issues occur that I cannot assist with, I am willing to do make-up classes for whichever learners did not get the full experience if any find that they want to.
