수업 소개

In this week long camp, learners will learn to write their numbers using the Handwriting Without Tears method.  We will learn how to properly form numbers.  We will learn two numbers per class. 

Daily Schedule:
1. Wood Piece Introduction/Exercise/Song
2. Form the Number of the Day with Wood Pieces
3. Wet-Dry-Try with the Number of the Day on a Learning Without Tears chalkboard (a dry erase board works well too)
4. Number Song - Each day we will start with 1 and practice each number until we get to the number we are working on that day.
5. Practice writing the Number of the Day on worksheet

Class Schedule:
Monday: #1 & #2
Tuesday: #3 & #4
Wednesday: #5 & #6
Thursday: #7 & #8
Friday: #9 & #10

Write numbers 0 to 10. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-10 (with 0 represent a count of no objects).

1. Wood Pieces - can be purchased from Learning Without Tears at: https://shopping.lwtears.com/LWTstore/s/product/detail/01t4V000007a2pEQAQ  or you can print out the PDF of the wood pieces I provide upon enrollment.
2. Weekly PDF - sent out on Sunday mornings
3. Writing utensil (pencil, crayon, marker, dry-erase marker, etc.)
4. Page protectors (Optional - but gives your child multiple opportunities to practice using the same worksheet)
5. Learning Without Tears Chalkboard (in like with wood pieces) or you can use a dry erase board, doodle board, etc.

I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education (Birth to 3rd grade). I was formally trained by Handwriting Without Tears, as well as Zoo Phonics. I have taught numerous children of all backgrounds in person and online using both Handwriting Without Tears and Zoo Phonics. I have taught Preschool through Kindergarten for 5 years, plus 2 years in older grades, as well as my stepdaughters and my daughter using the Handwriting Without Tears method.  I homeschooled my 3 girls for 3 years, and have taught online with Outschool and other platforms for over 6 years.
