This course is designed to focus on the properties and application of common geometric figures in two and three dimensions. It includes definitions, transformations, rotations, reflections, and translations, congruence, angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, geometric constructions, as well as triangle proofs. Plus, inductive and deductive thinking skills used in problem solving situations, as well as applications to the real world. Students who complete Geometry A - Part 1 should go...
Students will improve there skills in Geometry using tools, technology, and guided practice.
I am offering this series of classes because I have taught this subject before many times. I get very excited to see students that want to find out new things as well as use what they have already learned in math. I believe that all students can learn math if given different approaches. Everyone does not learn the same way so I offer a variety of methods. Please see for yourself.

Students will be assigned 3-5 lessons per week to be submitted for teacher to correct and returned in a timely manner.수업 외 주당 2 - 4 시간

Learner's progress will be assessed weekly with quizzes and at the end of a unit with tests. Grades will be recorded and a transcript will be given at the end of the semester. To complete a full year of geometry students need to complete the second part too.제공되는 성적

A basic calculator is needed (TI-30x) or a graphing calculator (TI-84). Also students can use an online calculator DESMOS.. Recommend pencil / paper for taking notes during meetings as well as a small whiteboard with dry erase markers along with eraser. Also needed a compass, protractor, ruler, 3 ring binder with at least 4 dividers for organization.
