- The student will demonstrate the ability to explore and verify properties of polygons.
- The student will demonstrate the ability to identify similar triangles and solve problems using ratios and proportions.
- The student will demonstrate the ability to analyze the effects of transformations.
- The student will demonstrate the ability to find one- and two- dimensional measurements relating to circles and polygons.
- The student will demonstrate the ability to solve problems using properties of right triangles, including trigonometric ratios.
- The student will demonstrate the ability to find two- and three-dimensional measurements related to geometric solids.
I majored in engineering before acquiring my bachelor’s of science in Computer Science (lots of math classes!) and later earned a Master’s Degree in Education. I have 14+ years of teaching many subjects and ages; however, I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry for high school students for the past 9 years. I love teaching geometry and creating supplement assignments and activities to further understanding.
