This is an ongoing class that covers one genre of writing each week. Students are given a writing prompt and a graphic organizer. To ensure that students understand the writing tasks, all graphic organizers include the prompt AND a little picture to represent the writing prompt. I have a master's degree from the School of Education at Northwestern University and a certificate to teach English (CTEFL) as a foreign language from Georgetown University. I was the head of the English department in an international primary school, and assessed and supported students' English language development.
