In this 10 week course, your child will work with fractions. We will begin with identifying fractions, numerator and denominator as well as equivalent fractions. Scholars will learn to place fractions on a number line and how to use benchmark fractions to compare and order fractions with like and unlike denominators. Your child will learn how to change a mixed number to an improper fraction as well as how to turn an improper fraction into a mixed number. We will also add and subtract...

Students will learn to find equivalent fractions as well as how to simplify fractions. Students will change improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers to improper fractions. Students will add and subtract fractions as well. From here, students will multiply and divide fractions and simplify their answers.
