About me: I have been teaching German to every age in various settings for the past 20 years - including language institutes, public charter schools, business and private schools. I am currently working as German language professor at a private university in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, I speak high German (no dialect) and enjoy hearing my students develop an accent-free German, naturally by listening to me speak and by hearing themselves repeat German phrases till they become natural to them. I am a very compassionate, encouraging and fun loving teacher and it is a joy to continuously see my students gain confidence in their speaking ability and pronunciation. Highlight of my month is always hearing formerly shy students confidently holding accent free presentations at the end of the semester. I'm looking forward to seeing you in my class soon!
