During our first session will begin with a few diagnostic assessments that will tell me what areas we need to work on and help me determine the next steps. 
Depending on the student’s individualized needs we will learn and practice reading skills in various ways. 
Below is some activities we will work on depending on student needs....
Letter recognition: Songs, Games, Matching, Writing, Flashcards
Letter sounds: Flash cards, Sound Activities, Writing, Matching
Word Reading: 
-CVC Consonant Vowel Consonant Words: Sounding Out, Blending, Games, Writing, Flashcards. fluency with stories 
-Short Vowels with Consonant Blends: Sounding Out, Blending, Games, Writing, Flashcards, Fluency with stories

학습 목표

Students will work on targeted reading skills on their individual levels, skills will include but are not limited to Phonemic awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Fluency, and Comprehension.

Students will complete various activities based on their individual needs for reading instruction.

This class is designed on an individual basis in order to meet students' needs of all ability levels. If your child has a certain accommodation or modification, please let me know so I can better serve and teach them.

I just finished up my 12th year teaching public education June 2024. Before I taught public education, I taught preschool for 2 years. I have my masters degree in K-6th Grade Elementary Education. I am also certified in Early Childhood Education, Special Education General Curriculum K-12th Grades, and Special Education Adaptive Curriculum K-12th Grades. I have taught Regular (General) Education and Special Education. I love Regular Education but Special Education has my heart and I have taught it for over 10 years! I love to work with learners of all types but struggling learners are my people!
