수업 소개

미국 3학년 - 6학년 학년

레벨 Intermediate

This will be a one on one reading fluency and comprehension session. We will learn many different concepts like "cause & effect/main idea & supporting details/author's purpose, vocabulary, and strategies on how to find information within a text to reinforce what they've learned so we can strengthen them for continued success in reading. You can book one or more sessions. If I do not have a time you would like please message me and I will let you know if I can make it work. This is for students grades 3rd-6th only. 

During this class we will use a research-based reading methods that I use in my classroom and have been highly trained on. Students taking this class should be ready to learn and have fun while learning. This class does require reading and writing. A pre and post assessment will be given. 

Students will learn by reading new vocabulary words, sentences, and passages. Students level of reading is based of pre-assessment scores. Students will work on both verbal and written comprehension skills and will be required to be active participants in their own learning.

I specialize in struggling learners that are behind grade level or need some extra help. This session is for students who need that boost. We can work on homework, IEP goals, social emotional skills, and much more.

Students should be able to blend and read word as a whole. Students will need both medium levels of verbal and reasoning skills.
